DAVID BOATNER

David Boatner has over 25 years of executive leadership, sales and marketing, technology, and real estate experience. 

He has held key positions in sales and marketing with several telecommunications and technology-based companies. As President of McLeodUSA Business Services, he built a successful sales force of over 1,000 employees and company revenues of one billion dollars ($1B). He was instrumental in the IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) of McLeodUSA and Splitrock Services, a wholesale internet provider. In addition, Mr. Boatner formed the commercial sales and marketing organization for WilTel Communications, a nationwide fiber optic network and technology company. 

In 2008, Mr. Boatner’s vision and entrepreneurial successes carried over to the real estate industry. A Texas Real Estate Broker for many years, he capitalized on his real estate knowledge and marketing expertise by founding Connect Realty.com Inc. The residential division of Connect Realty is managed by Mary Goudreault Boatner, President. Connect Realty has over 600 licensed agents in 7 states. The majority are located throughout Texas with the headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. 

Mr. Boatner is responsible for Connect Commercial, the commercial division of Connect Realty. He has brokered and authored numerous transactions in multiple sectors of the commercial and developmental areas of real estate. In fact, he brokered and closed the single largest land transaction ($32.5M) in the history of Galveston Island. Most recently, Mr. Boatner has brokered several million dollars in commercial real estate, including;

• $3.5M commercial office in the Galleria area

• Sold $2.25M raw land in Conroe

• Sold $1.5M shopping center in Conroe

• Sold $5.5M manufacturing facility in N. Houston

• Multiple commercial leases in Houston & surrounding areas 

Mr. Boatner mentors, assists, and trains Connect Realty agents with their commercial transactions. He also has a dedicated team of 4-6 licensed agents who assist him on a regular basis. His team is comprised of licensed agents with corporate backgrounds and years of experience in commercial escrow and/or finance. 

Connect Commercial is a member of both, Loopnet & Costar commercial real estate listing platforms and utilizes their available tools for marketing client properties. Other marketing aids include utilizing Mr. Boatner's personal network of Brokers & Investors, e-flyer distribution to an email list of active Texas Brokers who specialize in commercial real estate, professional photography (ground & aerial), and professional marketing materials.
